Important GP Surgery Update
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic and the high level of demand, OUR RECEPTION DESK IS NOW CLOSED
We have alternative measures put in place and patients will only be brought in after a telephone call from the GP.
If you are contacting us for advice regarding whether you should work or any other Covid-19 related query you MUST ring NHS 111
Due to the very high level of demand for prescriptions, all repeat script requests will be STRICTLY 72 hours for dispensing to give us time to process them. We are processing thousands of prescriptions a day.
Prescriptions can be ordered through our website or post box which is based in the waiting room. YOU MUST nominate a pharmacy for collection as we can no longer give these out over the counter.
Please understand that our GPs, nurses, Pharmacists and Medical Receptionists are now front line and are working to their full capacity under extremely difficult circumstances and verbal abuse to any member of staff will not be tolerated. They are coming into work, leaving their own families and vulnerable people at home. They are doing this to provide a service to YOU as patients and we would be grateful if you could help us to help you by not attending the surgery.
We understand the phone lines are busy and are at full capacity but we are doing all we can to answer them as quickly and as promptly as possible.
Please keep an eye on our website for updates as procedures are changing on a day to day basis and we are adding in measures all the time to facilitate these changes.
