Important GP Surgery Update
April 2022: The practice team are experiencing an extremely high level of demand and unfortunately have had a number of both clinical and administrative staff off due to sickness or isolation. We also have reduced pharmacist cover due to lack of funding which has added pressure to the team. Thank you for your patience and co-operation during these extremely difficult times.
Why are things different?
We are now operating a "Telephone First" system.
This helps give you the type of appointment you need:
- To be seen in person
- A phone consultation
- Help from your local pharmacy
If you need to be seen face-to-face you will be.
We are now on Facebook and will be using this social media page to bring you updates from the practice.
Patients using the practice's Facebook Page are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct at all times.
- Patients are not permitted to disclose any patient identifiable information about other patients.
- Patients must not post any comments that are inaccurate, fraudulent, harassing in nature, embarrassing, obscene, defamatory or unlawful on any social media platform. Such posts may be reported to the Practice Manager and the post reported to the relevant moderator.
- Patients must not post comments on social media that identify staff who work at the Practice.
Please be aware: should any offensive social media posts be brought to our attention, we may contact the patient/s involved and invite them to have a face-to-face discussion about the issues that they have.
However, depending on the content of the post, it could be viewed as a potential breakdown in the doctor/patient relationship and may result in you being removed from our Practice list.
