Our Practice / Treatment Room Nurse is available for consultations and advice on health matters. Special interests include asthma, diabetes, cervical smears, hypertension and supporting those who are trying to develop a healthy lifestyle with advice regarding weight, exercise, etc.
Treatment Room
The treatment room nurses carry out many procedures including;
- blood tests
- injections
- blood pressure checks
- dressing of wounds
Patients are referred to the treatment room by the doctor or practice nurse.
There is an appointment system for the treatment room and appointments can be booked by the receptionist.
The doctor may send patients to the treatment room for blood tests - your name will be added to a list of patients waiting to be seen - there may be a waiting time. Alternative you may wish to make an appointment to be seen at another time.
Some patients may take longer to treat than their allocated time. We ask for your patience if appointments are running late.
